The Dawes Arboretum is currently recruiting a part-time, Seasonal Guest Services Representative (April through August; up to 23 hours per week). Scheduled shifts will vary to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Your purpose in this seasonal position will be to provide high-quality impactful customer service, whether by phone or in person. You will champion our mission by sharing accurate information/directions, promoting upcoming events, and providing assistance with transactions, memberships, and program registrations. Attention to detail, ability to resolve issues and multi-tasking are just a few of the key skills essential for success in this role.
Some of the specific responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
·Warmly greet guests upon their arrival and ensure they feel welcomed by providing cheerful and courteous customer service, whether at the Gatehouse or in the Gift Shop. (This role will primarily have a Gatehouse focus.)
·Promote The Arboretum, its programs, classes, and events.
·Assist guests with admission into the Arboretum by verifying membership or accepting payment from non-members at the Gatehouse.
·Operate the point-of-sale system and utilize various computer programs.

The hourly pay for this position is $15.00.
