Senior Consultant, Human Rights
Hong Kong or Singapore
ELEVATE is seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in human rights and supply-chain sustainability to join our ESG Consulting team in Hong Kong or Singapore.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our rapidly growing business in Asia-Pacific. The Senior Consultant will be part of the ESG Consulting, APAC, team and will report to an (Associate) Director in the region. We are seeking deep expertise in Human Rights and practical application of Human Rights in supply chains. Forced labor investigations, worker repayment projects, ethical recruitment programs, and human rights due diligence are among wide range of human rights engagements we are delivering for top global companies across virtually all industries.
This is a client-facing management role with sales responsibilities. Senior Consultants on our team engage directly with senior clients, manage several direct reports, and contribute frequently to the sales process.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Management & Delivery (primary focus)
- Independently manage project delivery, including management of all project staff, with varying levels of direction from a director
- Own and manage scope, work plan, and budget throughout the project lifecycle
- Report on progress to all stakeholders (internal and external)
- Manage multiple projects and clients at the same time
- Business Development (significant secondary focus with annual targets)
- Regularly contribute to proposal development and pitches as needed
- Proactively identify and develop additional opportunities with existing clients during the course of project delivery
- Contribute to marketing efforts through occasional blog posts, thought leadership articles, participation in webinars and panels, and other activities
- Team Management & Development
- Directly manage approximately 2-3 Associates or Consultants
- Provide continuous on-the-job training and development to direct reports and the rest of the team
- Contribute to internal training efforts
- Product Development
- Continuously improve service delivery during engagements and share learnings with the larger team through creation of case studies and other IP
- Partner with senior leaders, customer leads, and other product leads to support the design and development of effective programs, products, and services
- Administration and use ELEVATE platforms and in an accurate and timely manner (5-10%)
Experience & Requirements
- Required
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven consultant -- Experience in consulting roles that involve independent project management and significant contributions to business development
- Human rights expertise -- Experience with human rights and labor risks in supply chains, including the practical application of human rights in the form of engagements such as investigations and human rights due diligence
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Outstanding written and spoken communication and presentation skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Capacity and willingness to work across different time zones and to hold meetings outside of regular local working hours
- Preferred
- Experience in a high-growth company
- Consulting experience specifically in ESG/sustainability
- Business-level proficiency in regional language (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.)
- Relevant advanced degree
- Advanced Excel skills
