Outreach is hiring a Full-time Director for Social Enterprises housed in Carol Stream to oversee the operation and expansion of multiple resale stores, and a car donation program, with the goal of advancing Outreach’s mission through resource generation, increasing customer awareness of the organization, and offering a platform for job training.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations for Jubilee Furniture – Carol Stream, Jubilee Furniture – Lombard, online sales, and Jubilee Cars Ministry.
- Provide team leadership and development for all resale staff and volunteers; supervise six direct staff reports (managers, administrative coordinator, regional business developer).
- Develop and implement a strategic plan and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and manage the social enterprise's budget, monitor sales performance, prepare, analyze, and present financial reports.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community organizations, and churches.
- Coordinate with internal partners including marketing and communications, volunteer services, and the Employment Opportunity Center.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday primarily daytime hours. Some evenings and Saturdays to overlap with resale operation hours and to attend committee and board meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of related experience with proven experience in managing multiple retail stores or social enterprises, and a track record of achieving growth and profitability.
- Basic understanding of the nonprofit sector, including knowledge of social enterprise models and impact measurement.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and work under pressure.
- Passion for social impact and commitment to the organization's mission.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
