The Summer Law Clerk will be an integral part of Stand Together's Legal & Compliance Capability, assisting the attorneys and team members who provide legal and compliance support to the organizations within in the Stand Together community! As part of a collegial 16-person team, each clerk will be personally supervised by one of our attorneys and will partner daily with individual attorneys, and non-lawyers too, to complete a variety of project-based work, including research and writing projects.
We are a general counsel’s office, and our projects vary significantly and concern numerous legal practice areas, including business and tax-exempt organizations, lobbying, campaign finance, contracts, and intellectual property. Clerks will also be able to take advantage of professional development and networking opportunities within the Stand Together community.
The ideal candidate is a 1L law student with full-time and in-person availability for the summer, with the option to start sooner, and is passionate about empowering others to build a society that empowers every person to realize his or her potential.
