Essential Functions:
Responsibilities:To serve as an
alternate point of contact for Goodwill Industries at the worksite.To be knowledgeableofthestatementofworkandensurethatallworkisperformedtocontract
specifications.To act in the place
of the supervisor in his or her absence.
1.Toensurethat at least onemember ofthemanagement teamis on duty during work time.
2.Toassistinorientingandtrainingnewortransferredcustodialworkers.
3.Tosuperviseandrecommenddisciplinaryactionforcustodialworkers.
4.Toperformcustodialdutiesasassignedbythesupervisororassistantsupervisor.
5.Tosuperviseandmotivatecustodialemployeestoreachproductionguidelinesandtobe capable of producing as well.To conduct periodic inspections of
subordinate’s work performance, as required or as recommended by the
supervisor.
6.To address all customer complaints promptly and
satisfactorily.To notify supervisor,
assistantsupervisorand,ifnecessary,ProjectManagerofanycustomercomplaintsand other issues
that may arise at the worksite.
7.Toinventoryandrequestsuppliesensuringthatreordersareplacedbeforestockis depletedasdirectedbythesupervisor.Toinspectcontractequipmentonaregular
schedule and maintain equipment inspection log as directed by the supervisor.
8.Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandcustomersinallaspectsofprofessional performance.
9.Toobservepersonnelpoliciesandsafetyprocedures.Toensurecomplianceby subordinates.Toensurethedailysafetymeetingisconductedanddocumented.
10.Toparticipatein employeemonthly meetings.
11.Toensurehourlyfloorchecksareconductedand documented.
12.Toperform alldutiesasrequiredpercontract/Goodwill
management.
13.Toperform additionaldutiesasassigned.
Skills and Abilities:1.Mustbeabletointeractcordiallyandproductivelywithavarietyofpeople.
2.Mustbeable tomarket Goodwill andexplain
themissionto thepublic.
3.Mustestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith,andamong,contract personnel.
4.Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicate
clearlyinEnglish.
5.Mustbeabletoworkaflexiblescheduleonshortnotice,includingnightsandweekends, and occasionally, long, or
extended hours.
6.Mustbeableto
liftand carryobjects up to10 #’sfrequently
and50 #’s occasionally.
7.Mustbeabletoengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending,stooping, and stretching and climbing stairs.
8.Mustbeabletofunctioninahecticworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsofhigh stress.
Requirements:1.Fiveyears’experienceinthecustodialfieldwithtwoyearsofsupervisoryexperience required.
2.Mustwearcompanyissueduniforms.
3.Mustbeable topassbackground checkanddrugscreening.
WorkingConditions:Frequentphysicalexertion,exposuretocleaningchemicals,fumesfrombuffingmachinesand potentially
infectious materials
