DescriptionThe Kynector position is responsible for providing accurate and unbiased information to help residents of Central Kentucky understand and enroll in the Kentucky Heal Benefits Exchange (KHBE) and select a health plan of their choice through one-on-one interactions, group presentations, public events or activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required, College preferred.
- Knowledge/experiences in the health care industry, and knowledge of Affordable Care Act preferred.
- Computer experience, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet research and ability to learn specialized computer databases, as needed.
- Knowledge of community social services, business organization, agencies and resources in the region. Understanding of rural and urban populations and particularly of the county assigned.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking.
- Ability to work with people of diverse and varying socio-economic backgrounds.
- Travel is a requirement of this position.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, regular access to reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time.
