Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Technicians.
Position Overview
Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is looking for dedicated Janitorial Technicians to provide cleaning and sanitation services for office buildings and related facilities. In this role, you will help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments while delivering excellent customer service to our clients.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Previous janitorial experience is helpful, but individuals who are eager to learn and have a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
Cleaning & Facility Maintenance
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and scrub floors and stairways
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and restroom fixtures
- Clean sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and bathroom stall walls
- Dust and clean office desks, furniture, windowsills, and stairwells
- Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and clean containers as needed
- Collect recyclable materials and transport them to designated collection areas
Supply & Equipment Management
- Restock restroom, breakroom, and common area supplies as needed
- Maintain janitorial closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow proper chemical labeling, dilution, and usage procedures
- Report damaged equipment and maintenance concerns to the Project Manager or Supervisor promptly
Safety & Compliance
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain awareness of cleaning products and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Help ensure facilities remain safe, clean, and professional for employees, visitors, and clients
Customer Service & Teamwork
- Provide professional and courteous service to clients and building occupants
- Follow directions provided by the Project Manager or Supervisor
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete assigned tasks
- Assist with additional duties as assigned to support operational needs

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Previous knowledge of performance-based cleaning or willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), or willingness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Must pass a background check
Physical Requirements
This position requires routine walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving materials throughout the workday. Employees must be able to safely handle items weighing up to 50 pounds. Items exceeding 50 pounds require a team lift.
