Position Description:
Partners with the Director of Philanthropy and the Organization in cultivating prospects and donors by leading Mission Impact Tours and Experiences. Identifies, researches, cultivates, solicits and stewards prospects and donors to acquire new donors and increase giving with existing donors. Assists with fundraising event planning, execution and fundraising for An Evening of Goodwill Gala, The Empower Breakfast and Driver of Change Golf Tournament.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with executing annual fundraising events including Empower Breakfast, Driver of Change Golf Tournament and Evening of Goodwill gala to meet overall event and financial goals.
- Leads, organizes and executes 25 or more Donor or Prospect Mission Impact Tours and Experiences to cultivate and acquire new prospects and steward current donors and partners.
- Identifies, researches and develops a dynamic prospect portfolio for cultivation, engagement and solicitation for new or increased annual, major and event-based giving.
- Working within Blackbaud RE-NXT CRM system, creates and executes plan for mission-based cultivation and engagement of prospects and donors which aligns and supports movement of prospects to donors, and increases donor giving year over year.
- Builds strong relationships with prospects and donors by personally engaging them through follow-up strategies including inviting them to be Empower Breakfast Table Hosts, and ensuring they are placed in an annual giving, major giving or event attendee portfolio. Partners with appropriate Team Members when working on donor prospects.
- Provides targeted, proactive and effective support for bold revenue generation and donor cultivation activities.
- Works within Blackbaud RE NXT CRM system in timely manner to input and document all moves and interactions with prospects and donors for tracking and future strategy.
- Actively networks and maintains relationships with community organizations, other non-profits, and internal departments as appropriate to support philanthropy.
- Closely follows the established processes and steps within the department to ensure the correct sequence.
- Assists with building and maintaining the departmental budget to ensure expenses and revenue are in line with goals.
- Performs some administrative duties from time to time.
- Meets all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established in annual fundraising plan.

- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 3 + years’ experience with fundraising, sales and/or donor experience preferred
- Comfortable interacting with a variety of internal and external positions and levels.
- Comfortable soliciting donations from prospective individual and corporate donors.
- Strong administrative and record keeping skills, including working within a donor database/CRM. Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge/RE NXT preferred.
- Strong project management experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent writing skills and very comfortable presenting to small and large groups.
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
- Excellent internet navigation required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Valid drivers’ license and clean MVR.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
