Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring for a Cardiac Tech to work in the Vascular and Interventional Center.
Hours/Shift: Flexi, Evening or Night Shift
Department/Position Overview:
Successful candidates should have at least one year of patient care experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a Nursing Care Partner or ED Tech to advance their skills!
Preferred qualifications include EKG monitor hook-up experience and certification as a Cardiographic Tech.

Job Summary
Aids physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems; maintaining equipment and recording test results.
EKG Holter Monitor Hook-up experience preferred. On the job training required.
Qualifications:
HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) - Certification - Other/National
