Hopetoun Village is the largest of five retirement villages on our Castle Hill estate. The village offers a wide range of clubs and activities for residents to ensure they enjoy a bustling social lifestyle.
This position has been created to act as a key conduit between multiple parties to during refurbishments and will play a key role in ensuring ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of residents.

About the role:
The Liaison Officer will play a key role interacting with multiple parties to ensure the safety and comfort of residents whilst renovations are underway within the village. As part of this role, the Liaison Officer will liaise with the Village Management, Staff, Project Manager, Contractors and Residents to:
- Discuss and document feedback from residents and own condition reporting.
- Help with relocation discussions and defect feedback on newly moved in residents.
- Help in documenting variation work and proactively report on any design/unit concerns.
- Oversee and report on WHS risks and cleanliness of village daily, while reporting on damage made by contractors.
- Providing monthly and fortnightly updates to residents.
This is a full-time position for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be based on-site at Hopetoun Village in Castle Hill.
About You
For this role, we are seeking candidates with strong interpersonal skills and a mix of the following experience and attributes:
- Previous experience in Building, Construction, Property Management or another trade related field is highly desirable.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- The ability to communicate and build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- A Safety-First mindset, with the ability to proactively identify and report on potential risks.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
