Knowledge
management in CHRI
CHRI aims
to be a key institution generating, managing, and sharing knowledge in the
public health domains and facilitating access and use of knowledge by partners
and stakeholders.
The
knowledge management function in CHRI is a subset of business performance
including monitoring and evaluation, research and design, and program
management. This vertical is a shared service and supports programs in
knowledge generation, storage, and dissemination. It develops intellectual
assets in the form of policy briefs, program briefs, factsheets, and promising
and best practices, among others, by documenting knowledge and experiences
using secondary literature reviews, project documents, and interactions with
project teams as well as external stakeholders. Besides knowledge generation
activities, the Knowledge management function also facilitates knowledge
sharing and dissemination through webinars, conferences, workshops, and other
similar events.
CHRI
is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter, and enthusiastic candidate to
work with the State Representative and Program team working in Bihar.
Role
and Responsibilities
During Consultancy
Responsibilities may include one or many, but are not limited to,
the following:
1.Provide technical support in the development and implementation of strategy
for knowledge management for public and charitable hospitals.
2.Support in conducting a background literature review, analyzing data and
generating reports for sharing with the stakeholders, charity hospitals and
program management team.
3.Support in knowledge
dissemination through knowledge-sharing platforms, coordinating meetings/training
and facilitating the organizing and conduct of knowledge-sharing sessions.
4.Participate in meetings
and workshops and make visits to hospitals to capture the strategies and
interventions, lessons learned, events, charity hospitals data and information
etc. for documentation and record keeping.
5.Facilitate the keeping of records, data, reports, and communication routinely.
6.Schedule meetings,
coordinate and follow up with partners and stakeholders.
7.Any other work related to business, as assigned from time to time by the
state representative.
1.MBBS/BDS with master’s in public health/health administration/Rural
Development / Social Sciences/ Sciences.
2.Preferably
more than 7 years of experience in community development/ public health
programs with central or state government/civil society/ NGOs.
3.Excellent in written and spoken Hindi and English language.
4.Basic primary and secondary research and analytical skills
5.Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS
Excel, and MS PowerPoint
6.Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure
situations.
7.Comfortable in collaborating across all levels of leadership in public and
charity hospitals and government departments, panchayats and community
organizations etc.

Consultant will report to State Representative Bihar
Duration 3 months, hiring
is done on a rolling basis.
