SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
To be fully considered for position, applicants must have:
- Completed all requirements for a doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited graduate program. Dissertation should be defended before start date.
- Completed a full time, 12-month pre-doctoral internship, preferably APA accredited.
- Eligible for temporary licensure as a psychologist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- Competence in generalist practice, including multiculturalism, brief psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and crisis intervention.
Preference for applicants with strong assessment skills, supervisory skills, and interest working with university and/or young adult population.
INTERRELATIONS
- Regular contact with Director of CaPS
- Contact with faculty and staff from other departments, especially with the Center for Accessibility and Learning Equity
- Must have an appreciation and respect for diverse populations.
