The Child Mind Institute is seeking a skilled EMR Applications Support Analyst to provide administrative and technical support for the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system. This role will involve providing administrative and technical support for the EHR system, with a special emphasis on clinical and practice management modules. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Administration, this is an exempt, full-time position located in our NYC headquarters office. Responsibilities: - Support the design, build, testing, training, utilization, and maintenance of the EHR system, with a focus on clinical, revenue cycle and practice management modules.
- Troubleshoot EHR and other Clinical Informatic Systems issues and document research, interactions, and problem resolutions in IT help-desk software.
- Track support tickets and analyze errors for ongoing training and enhancements.
- Manage user setup and configuration based on HIPAA Security Guidelines.
- Train new users and provide ongoing training support with system upgrades.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support.
- Monitor and analyze support tickets trends to identify areas for ongoing training and system enhancements.
- Stay updated on the latest applications of information technology and clinical informatics.
- Document, monitor, and analyze reported issues to proactively identify potential risks and trends.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting clinical, revenue cycle, order entry, results, collaboration with finance departments and practice management modules of EHR systems.
- Experience in SQL coding language required.
- Knowledge of HL7 or FHIR preferred.
- Behavioral Health experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with NextGen is preferred.
- Experience in supporting and training clinical and business users.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with EHR vendors.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA Privacy and Security Guidelines.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player with effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and discretion.
