Workforce Optimisation Manager

The Workforce Optimisation Manager is a key leadership role within our Residential care stream ensuring there is strategic balancing of staffing levels, skill mix and roles at all times. This role will set the framework that ensures rosters meet care minute targets , identify gaps in rostering and work with Residential leadership teams specifically to;
- Partner with RC Managers and Operations Managers to develop and maintain base rosters and fortnightly schedules that align with occupancy levels and achieve clinical care requirements, case mix and regulatory obligations, the business unit’s budget and objectives and deliver a superior resident and employee experience.
- Provide accurate reporting and analysis of the weekly, fortnightly and monthly KPIs to provide strategic recommendations and improvements to maximise effectiveness and efficiency.
- Forecast staffing models and staff skill mix in line with RoL principles in consultation with the Residential Managers to optimise workforce productivity and performance.

The ideal candidate will be a confident natural leader and negotiator, problem solver with demonstrated critical thinking and collaboration skills.
Additionally you will have:
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
- Good business acumen and organizational awareness
- Sound working knowledge of quality systems.
Education and Experience
- Must hold Tertiary qualifications in Business/Management/Business Administration
- Proven experience in developing and managing rosters to deliver business objectives, human resources experience desirable
- Minimum 5 year’s previous experience in similar role inclusive of minimum 1 year in a supervisory capacity/leading a workforce management team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously under pressure.
- Experience with workforce planning tools (UKG Dimensions preferred)
