Job Description
·
·Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the GreatNonprofits’ overall strategy
·Drive all phases of business development, including research, market analysis, due diligence, and evaluation of partners
·Proactively identify key growth areas and evaluate opportunities to build market share.
·Develop and manage programs for different buyer audiences, products and services
·Manage contract negotiations
·Build excellent working relationships at all levels while coordinating integration planning of new businesses
Development Management:
·Prospect and cultivate relationships with foundation staff and individual donors
·Prepare and submit foundation grants and corporate requests
Qualifications
·Minimum of 5-8 years’ sales, marketing or business development experience
·Previous experiences in software selling is an advantage
·Strong verbal and writing skills to communicate the GreatNonprofits mission to others effectively
·Strong public speaking experience
·Successful track record of business development, account management and sales strategy
·Excellent organizational and analytical skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
·Prior work or volunteer experience at a nonprofit
