Givens Highland Farms is looking for a full-time Controller to join our Financial Operations team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the primary purpose of your position is to supervise all functions for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and regular financial reporting for Givens Communities and to assure that the highest degree of quality care will be provided to our team members and residents at all times. This will be a fully on-site role at our Black Mountain campus.
What you'll do:
- Supervise and create and communicate Financial Reporting
- Supervise and support Accounts Receivable functions
- Supervise and support Payroll and Accounts Payable functions
- Participate in the development of reports for internal and external use
- Work with residents on billing issues
- Lead assigned campus annual budgeting process and guide departments on how to prepare and submit their budgets
- Complete assigned Financial Operations Projects
- Act as Matrixcare computer software coordinator
- Utilize Paycom system for financial and payroll related functions and support team usage
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s in accounting degree with CPA license
- Should be familiar with all aspects of accounting records, such as accounts payable and payroll tax returns
- Experience with multiple software programs, including Microsoft Office, database management, electronic communication systems, Matrixcare, etc. is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and when reporting financials
Compensation is $90,000 - $125,000 annually, based on experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package.
