This is a seasonal part-time position in the late June through mid-August time range. As we have events throughout the US, we are looking to regionalize this role as much as possible to minimize travel.

Role Responsibilities:
The Seasonal Ticket Staff position is at various locations throughout the country to provide customer support in the box office and entry gates at our events. In addition, you will work closely with other organizational personnel as necessary.
Individuals must be highly motivated and have experience in customer service.
This position reports directly to the Ticketing Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrive promptly at the designated box office location to help with the preparation of the box office for sales.
- Assist with event walk-up sales and answering various questions
- Assist customers with purchase decisions – finding the best seat in the customer’s preferred price range
- Troubleshoot any issues that customers are experiencing accessing their tickets on their mobile devices.
- Resolve customer conflicts with guidance from the On-site Ticket Office Manager.
- Ascertain and resolve customer concerns, requests, and/or complaints in a timely, courteous, and informed manner
- Maintain a positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping others
- Contribute to the environment of the box office in a manner that is conducive to customer service, sales promotion, safety, and quality of work life
- Perform other duties as required.
Experience
- Previous customer service needed
- Box office experience preferred
- Willingness to travel – potentially 3-5 days consecutively
- Highly motivated self-starter, a hard worker with a high energy level; a “doer” with a willingness to work hands-on in assisting customers and staff
- Strong verbal skills
- High School diploma required
Other Information about the Position
- Training session in early June is required. Can be done virtually if located outside the Indianapolis area.
- Candidate will be required to have a clear background check for the position. This background check will be provided at DCI’s expense.
- Candidate will be required to take SafeSport Certification Training also provided at DCI expense. If you already have the Core certification, a copy of your certificate can be provided.
- Compensation is $250 (before taxes) per event
- Potential opportunity for growth by becoming an On-Site Ticket Office Manager
- Travel and hotel expenses, if needed, are covered by DCI
- 4 (four) complimentary tickets to use at various DCI-Operated events
