About the role:
Our Property Services team has an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Leasing Manager to oversee all property leasing matters across Anglicare Sydney.
In this role you will be responsible for commercial decision making and the execution of lease deals across the portfolio of Anglicare revenue and expense leased sites
You will ensure accurate financial reporting across the portfolio of Anglicare revenue and expense leased sites. You will negotiate new and or renew leasing deals of commercial, retail and residential assets, associated fit-out works and relocations of teams into new leased premises.
Working closely with Operational Managers, Regional Asset Managers and the Finance team, you will ensure on a day-to-day basis that contract responsibilities on property maintenance of leased properties are carried out expeditiously.
As a Leasing Manager, Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Negotiation of new and or renewed leasing deals of commercial, industrial, retail and contributes in the preparation of business papers outlining recommendations to Executive Management on potential new deals
- Ensures delivery of the asset strategy for reactive maintenance, preventative maintenance, minor capital, grounds, cleaning, infrastructure works and other services across portfolio including land bank assets
- Contributes to all staff being well supported by providing ongoing supervision and feedback, training and opportunities for professional development
- Keep abreast of general market tracking and research and presentation on findings
- Ensures that internal and external reporting requirements are met within agreed timeframes through appropriate and accurate recording mechanisms
- Ensures that all residents / customers are respected and treated with empathy and dignity by providing them with choice to live their daily life in a way that is special and unique to them and that is consistent with their wellbeing and the wellbeing of others
- Contributes to the highest quality of work completed by Anglicare staff, contractors, consultants and suppliers by ensuring projects meet time, cost, and outcome objectives and have been conducted with due consideration of impacts on residents and staff
- Contributes to the development of key relationships with external agents, contractors and consultants to ensure the right mix of internal and external services and these relationships represent value for money and provide quality outcomes
About You:
- Ideally hold tertiary qualifications in a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in either a commercial or industrial leasing capacity. Agency experience will be looked upon favourably
- Well-organized with exemplarily communication skills as well as being commercially minded
- Proven high level of data analysis and reporting
- Experience in working and supporting a high performing team
- Ensures the reporting & analysis of the financial performance of the portfolio (expense / revenue leases, landbank)
