About the role
We are looking for 2 permanent part-timeActivities Officer's to empower and engage with our Residents to maximise their participation in Leisure and Lifestyle programs based in our Glendale facility in Townsville. This role works Monday to Friday.
Our focus for residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants, our Activities officers facilitate this through:
- Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans
- Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
- Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs
Ideally you will have
- Experience in an Aged Care or supporting Residents with lifestyle and leisure programs
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
- NDIS Worker Check (valid within the last 5 years)
- Working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)
- Energetic and effective communicator
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
- Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
