We are looking for a full-time Aftercare Supervisor to add to our team! You must have an advanced degree in social work or comparable human service field and two years’ experience in direct service or case management preferred; OR a bachelor’s degree in social work or comparable human service field and four years’ experience in direct service or case management; and BSRB licensure required.
A Day in The Life as an Aftercare Supervisor
You will supervise the Aftercare Services in the area assigned toward its primary goals based on direction provided by senior management. You will be working with families who have reintegrated their children home, adopted children or even kids that have aged out of DCF custody. You will promote the well-being of children in the Permanency Program, participate in staff meetings and trainings and coordinate with staff from other agencies involved in providing Permanency. You will meet with your staff on a regular basis to become familiar with families and how the agency can best support them. You will be in close contact both in person and virtually with each staff member to provide guidance and support.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who provides oversight on all assigned aftercare cases ensuring aftercare practices are timely within Federal and State standards. Supervises Permanency staff assigned to the region with specific oversight of Aftercare positions.
Serves as the court liaison for the Permanency Program. Promotes the well-being of children in the Permanency Program, participates in staff meetings and trainings and coordinates with staff from other agencies involved in providing Aftercare Services.
