We are currently in search of an Office Administrative Assistant for a Policy and Advocacy Organization. This is a Full or Part Time, Fully In Person, Temporary assignment located in New York, NY (Financial District).

POSITION TITLE: Office Administrative Assistant
SCHEDULE: Full or Part Time (20-35 hrs./wk.), Monday - Friday (9AM - 5PM)
DURATION: Temporary (~ 1-2 mos.)
HOURLY: $20-23.50/hr. DOE
Is This Your Dream Job? The Office Administrative Assistant will support the efficient management and operation of the organization's office facility, including conference and meeting room logistics.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 1+ years of administrative support experience with a nonprofit preferred
- 1+ years of filing and data entry preferred
- Experience working with various office equipment in a dynamic office environment
- Must exemplify friendly demeanor, approachable attitude, and strong communication skills
- Capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities and maintain composure under pressure
- Flexibility to work during early mornings or evenings as required, depending on conference room utilization
How You’ll Spend Your Day:
- Staffing the front reception area to welcome and assist guests attending the organization's conference events and internal meetings
- Providing comprehensive support for conference and meeting room setup, including layout adjustments and AV equipment provisioning
- Conducting troubleshooting and ad hoc repairs for office equipment to ensure seamless operations
- Maintaining organized and well-stocked copy areas, overseeing supplies such as paper and toner replacements
- Monitoring and managing office supplies inventory to meet established guideline
- Ensuring the pantry area is tidy, organized, and adequately stocked
- Offering support and assistance to the Facilities Manager as needed
