The Northwest Center @ Amazon team operates in a fast-paced and demanding corporate environment where we provide professional 5-star customer service across several program divisions. The Receptionist is Amazon’s face and voice to its clients and their guests. In this role, you will provide 5-star customer service and have an obsession for customer satisfaction.

As our Lead receptionists, you will lead day to day administrative activities and tasks including greeting and checking in guests, distributing badges, providing resources to callers, and assisting with projects and audits. Your team of receptionists are solution providers and seek to provide a memorable customer centric experience through each interaction and you will be a key motivator and leader. This position is located onsite in Amazon’s South Lake Union, Bellevue and Redmon campuses.
Location: Seattle (with flexibility to work in Bellevue & Redmond when needed)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:20AM – 3:50PM and 9:35AM - 6:05PM (must have open availability to work both shifts as scheduled)
Wage: Starting Wage: $29.19 per hour | Full Wage Range: $29.19 - $34.73 per hour

Key responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Lead day-to-day operations of the reception desks.
- Conduct Deskside Training when needed and provide input to Business Analytics regarding continuous improvement.
- Provide (or direct) roaming receptionist tasks.
- Report and execute reception operations consistent with established SLAs.
- Team with peer Lead Receptionists to ensure consistent experiences across Prides.
- Be attentive and provide exceptional, professional customer service to Amazonians,
clients, contractors, and visitors.
Support and Guide Receptionists:
- Collaborate with peer Lead Receptionists to ensure consistency across the Reception Team.
- Participate in Receptionist hiring.
- Coach and develop to facilitate success in current role and readiness for potential growth into other roles.
- Provide input to Supervisors regarding Receptionist performance.

Education
Experience
Required Experience:
- Experience leading people.
- Experience operating a front desk environment.
- Positive, upbeat attitude and able to get along with everyone.
- Must be reliable and punctual with excellent organizational skills.
- Must have demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience:
- Above average communication skills preferred.
- Experience using MS Office suite of products preferred

Working Conditions & Physical demands
- Must be able to potentially lift or carry items up to 50 pounds.
- May need to carry supplies to other buildings.
- The position requires standing and mobility around the campus for long periods of time up to the entire length of the shift.
- Ability to work independently and out of line of sight from other team members for all or part of shift.
- Ability to work on a tablet/computer.
- Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to see both distance and details at close range, within a few feet of the observer (with or without corrective lenses).
- Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person (with or without a personal auditory hearing device).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including occasionally arriving early, staying late on a moment’s notice and occasional evening.
This is a dog friendly environment with over 1000 dogs on campus. Individuals with dog allergies or those who do not particularly care for dogs may not be the best fit.
