Paralegal will work under the supervision of the General Counsel, and will draft, edit, and otherwise assist in the preparation of legal documents, correspondence, and managing transactional and litigation materials, Daily duties also include, but are not limited to, maintaining record books for entities; organizing, preparing and completing corporate documents, file organization; and matter management.
What You Will Do:
- Provide direct support to General Counsel on corporate and litigation matters
- Manage small In-house legal department
- Assist in drafting or amending of corporate governing documents, agreements, and other legal documents, as assigned by General Counsel
- Become proficient with and utilize electronic platforms for matter and document management purposes
- Support administration of contract and matter management systems
- Review, analyze, and organize factual material and other substantive legal documents as needed
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, forms, etc. at direction of General Counsel
- Conduct legal research as requested by General Counsel
- Coordinate and liaise with staff and outside counsel on a variety of legal matters
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications:
3+ years’ paralegal experience in nonprofit/corporate setting or practice areas; Bachelor's Degree and/or paralegal degree/certificate or equivalent combination of experience preferred.
