We are currently in search of an Executive Assistant for an Arts and Culture Organization located in New York City (Midtown South). This is a Full Time, Hybrid, Temporary-to-Permanent position.

SCHEDULE: 37.5 hours/week (Hybrid Schedule TBD)
DURATION: Temporary-to-Permanent
HOURLY RATE: $27.00 - $33.00/hr. DOE
Is This Your Dream Job? The Executive Assistant will oversee a vast array of administrative tasks and projects in support of the Executive Director and the Agency.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of nonprofit experience providing executive and leadership support
- Bachelor’s degree required (Substitutions: four years of specialized experience or associate degree and two years of specialized experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree; J.D. or master’s degree may substitute for one year of specialized experience; Ph.D. may substitute for two years of specialized experience)
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook)
- Ability to organize with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the New York State Government and/or the New York State nonprofit arts and culture sector is a plus
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- First point of contact for a myriad of different constituencies
- Coordinate invitations and meeting requests received by the Executive Director
- Schedule all internal and external meetings, including site visits across the state
- Coordinate all travel arrangements
- Assist in the drafting of internal and external correspondence
- As appropriate, research, summarize, and prepare a variety of materials for the Executive Director
- Provide technical support and assist in the preparation of staff meetings, Council meetings, and virtual meetings
- Assist with special projects and initiatives at the discretion of the Executive Director
