Summary: The Child Mind Institute is seeking a Data Coordinator to work across our School and Community Programs and Research teams. The Data Coordinator will assist the teams with management of research databases, perform data quality control, develop tracking systems and reports, assist senior staff in data preprocessing and analyses, and assist in outlining academic literature. With strong interpersonal and organizational skills, this candidate should possess a keen attention to detail, a strong willingness to learn, and computer skills related to data management. The data coordinator will be aiding in the preparation of data reports and presentations for the Development Team as well as stakeholders and community members. Reporting to the Program Analyst, School and Community Programs, this is a non-exempt, full-time position, located in our midtown NYC headquarters. Responsibilities: - Formatting, designing, and building online assessments in multiple platforms including REDCap.
- Validating data, storing documents, updating records, preparing reports, helping staff with data entry tasks, and data auditing.
- Reviewing research protocols and related documentation for appropriate data management.
- Tracking program activities and outcomes of individuals and institutions served.
- Assist in developing and implementing new research initiatives across teams.
- Assist in data analyses and result interpretation.
- Conduct and summarize scientific literature review.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: - At least one year of experience working in a school, community, nonprofit, clinical, or research setting is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Neuroscience, Engineering, or other related scientific fields.
- Strong interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to work as a member of a team, as well as independently.
- Must be proficient in REDCap or related tools and Microsoft Suite.
- Proficiency in R and/or python is preferred.
