The Director of Applications will partner with business units and their leaders to set strategic and tactical direction of business systems and applications. The Director of Application assures platform strategies are aligned with enterprise strategic initiatvies. Responsibilities: - Develops and executes a comprehensive enterprise applications strategy in alignment with the organization's business objectives
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, developing and supervising all activities related to integration of programs, applications and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the organization.
- Develops data architecture and modeling standards, governance frameworks, and system integration standards at an enterprise level
- Collaborates with CIO and IT Leadership to define technology roadmaps and long-term vision for core systems integrated with overall applications and processes. Core systems include but are not limited to Electronic Health Records, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Project Management Systems, Data Governance & Analytics platforms.
- Develops strategies and implementation tactics for software deployment, implementation and integration into daily operations for the enterprise users.
- Manages the enterprise application inventory, including administration and documentation supporting each business application.
- Reviews applications requests, manages and allocates budgets for system and applications.
- Manages the IT Project Management office and resources and in collaboration with the IT Quality Assurance Manager ensure quality checks and audits are delivered on application deployments.
- Foster and advocate knowledge sharing and educational environment and culture.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or business administration or relevant equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years in working experience in a leadership position in an IT Department.
- Proven experience in IT process improvement, process auditing, strategic planning and development, program and project management, and/or policy & procedure development.
- Extensive knowledge of software development life cycle and database technologies.
- Knowledge of system integration methods and technologies including Health Level 7 (HL7), Fast Healthcare Interopability Resources (FHIR), Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Web services, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Business process automation and orchestration tools and software
- Expertise in solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support, in addition to strong business understanding and project management
- Strong interpersonal, communication, attention to detail, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Excellent judgment, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of initiative, dependability, and the ability to be productive in an autonomous environment.
