Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive at iCarol, you will play a crucial role in driving our business impact, forging strategic relationships, and expanding our ability to improve the communities that our customers serve.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience at a human or social service-focused non-profit organization.
- Knowledge of non-profit challenges, pain points, and experience addressing those with creative and forward-thinking solutions
- Passion for advocacy and promoting social good.
- Experience selling to non-profits; a plus.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proven ability to drive deals to successful closure.
- Exceptional organizational ability, critical thinking skills, decisiveness, and willingness to appropriately accept risk.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, MBA or master’s degree in human services field a plus.
- Prior Sales leadership experience a plus
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-lasting customer and partner relationships.
- Proven ability to develop new strategic business relationships.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet customers and attend industry events.
- Experience in software sales a plus.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within new and existing customer organizations.
- Understand customer needs and challenges to effectively present iCarol's solutions, demonstrating how they address specific pain points.
Partnership Development
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with relevant industry players, technology providers, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to enhance iCarol's market presence.
Sales and Strategy Execution
- Develop and maintain knowledge about industry trends, competitors and competitor activities, and market developments.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling sales collateral and presentations.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Work with the Sales team to turn sales strategies into clear, achievable bookings forecasts.
- Prepare and present required reports, analyzing performance against targets and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities.
Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the assigned market segments.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by researching and identifying potential clients and engaging with the sales team on leads.
