About the role:
We are seeking Domestic Assistance/Cleaner on a permanent part-time or casual basis. You will be required to provide assistance to elderly clients living at home, through the promotion of independence and choice. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning furniture, bathrooms toilets & floors
- Completing household shopping
- Washing, folding and ironing personal laundry and linen, as required
- Helping feed pets, as required
- Dispose of household waste, as required
- Ensure infection control practices are adhered to
- Delivering domestic assistance services with professionalism and care, within the time allocated
About you:
A successful candidate will maintain compliance with standards and adhere to organisational policies and procedures whilst promoting the core values of Anglicare Sydney.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Experience providing domestic support services, including general cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, laundry and pet care (desirable)
- Ability to work as part of a team, and also independently
- Must have a valid AU Drivers Licence
- Must have their reliable vehicle to transport between customer locations
- Vaccination against Covid and Flu (desirable)
- Basic computer and smartphone working knowledge
