About the role:
Anglicare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Team Leader position. You will be leading the Family Preservation and Restoration team and managing the day-to-day operations of the program. This position is paid at SCHADS 7.
Key responsibilities (not limited to):
- Provide team members with the appropriate supervision, development and training.
- Conduct thorough client assessments and provide case plans that is clearly defined and with achievable outcomes.
- Ensure Family Preservation and Restoration programs work in an integrated way with other Anglicare Community Services programs for clients.
- Assist the Program Manager with recruiting appropriately qualified and trained staff and volunteers. This also includes coordinating and supervising student placements.
- Ensure all documentation meets organisational, legislative and funding requirements by completing and maintaining appropriate client documentation and statistical information.
- Contributes to continuous improvement of the program by reviewing and implementing policies, procedures and work practices and ensuring these are communicated to staff.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or related discipline.
- Unrestricted NSW Drivers licence.
- Previous experience leading and developing a team.
- Three years’ experience in case management working with families, children and young people.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current Working with Children’s Check NSW Driver License.
- Covid-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt.
