The Research Management Group serves as the institutional representative for all fellowships within the School of Medicine. Within RMG, the Fellowship Research Process Manager Associate will assist students, departments and faculty with fellowship proposals, awards, financial questions and other tasks associated with pre- and/or post-award fellowship activities and services.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Associate degree and three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Basic understanding of applicable federal regulations, sponsor requirements, and University policies such as OMB A-21, OMB A-110, Cost Accounting Standards, Food and Drug Administration and Medicare pricing and reimbursements.
- Working knowledge of university systems such as SeRA, eProtocol, Oncore.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet interpretation skills, including formulas.
- Demonstrated ability to meet long and short-term deadlines with accuracy.
Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly in both written and oral form.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with Stanford’s colleagues and clients and with external organizations.
- Demonstrated commitment to personal responsibility and value for safety, shown through communication of safety concerns and use and promotion of safe behaviors based on training and lessons learned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently perform desk based computer tasks, seated work, use a telephone and use light/fine grasping.
- Occasionally write by hand, lift, carry, push pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely stand, walk, sort, and file paperwork or parts.

The expected pay range for this position is $29.81 to $36.06 per hour.
