Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage residential programs with minimal supervision, ensuring policies and procedures are upheld while providing critical support to students.
- Engage directly with students through visible presence in residential neighborhoods, fostering connections and supporting their intellectual and personal growth.
- Collaborate with Residential Education staff and other departments to create integrated learning experiences within student residences.
- Serve as a first responder in student crises, providing crucial support and navigating campus resources effectively.
- Mentor and guide students and staff, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Analyze and assess program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements that enhance the student experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Capacity for addressing campus safety, emergency response, mental health, case management, and student conduct.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a proven ability to work with diverse populations
- Strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
- University on-campus housing is provided with this position; residing on campus is a condition of employment.
- This position is designated as an on-site role requiring presence in assigned work locations Monday through Friday.
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and as assigned in on-call rotation.
