Program Mentor – Fixed Term Contract

As the charity arm of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys, we are committed to supporting the community that supports our club.
About the Role
We are seeking a Program Mentor to play a critical role in supporting the growth and overall functions of our Dream, Believe, Achieve Program. You will provide operational support, delivery support, and implement efficiencies, as we have expanded our program to offer additional qualification pathways. This role involves overseeing the onboarding process, liaison with partner training organisations, and providing comprehensive mentoring and wrap around support to program participants. The fixed term contract is for 16 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mentoring support to participants, monitor the progress of participants through face to face and non-face to face contact to support successful completion of their qualification and entry into employment.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including liaising with schools, job active networks, apprenticeship agencies, RTOs and industry partners to support the recruitment, enrolment and successful completion of qualification.
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of workshop sessions for program participants.
- Maintain regular contact with host employers who have participants that are part of the program.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Cert IV Youth work, Case management (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role,
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite.
