The Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is seeking an experienced Sr. Director for the Therapeutic Clinical Services and Advocacy Services Department.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Reporting directly to Chief Program Officer, the Senior Director of Partner Services leads and provides oversight of the actions and coordination of all investigative disciplines and are primarily responsible for helping to hold the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) accountable for ensuring all parties adhere to the investigative protocol for a child’s case. This protocol governs the roles each discipline plays in the investigation, prosecution, and healing services for children of DCAC. As such, they will shape and guide relationships with DCAC Partner Agencies, child-serving community organizations, and local and state constituents.
The Senior Director of Partner Services will lead efforts to increase knowledge of DCAC’s mission and services and engagement with external partners. They will drive best practices within the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to ensure a strong, cohesive, and collaborative MDT approach to child abuse cases. The MDT consists of team members from DCAC, law enforcement agencies, child protection offices, medical facilities, and child centered community agencies.
ABOUT DCAC: The mission of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and to provide national leadership on child abuse issues. DCAC is a non-profit organization and the only agency of its kind in Dallas County, working in agreement with public and private agencies to investigate, prosecute, and provide healing services for child abuse cases in Dallas County.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Community Outreach / Collaboration:
- Responsible for overall assessment, development, and implementation of ongoing partner and child-serving community agency orientations, training, and technical assistance needs of MDT (multi-disciplinary team) related to collaborative efforts and cross-discipline training; collaborate with education department and partner relations to identify the training needs for the MDT.
- Responsible for collaborating with the CPrO in coordinating, facilitating, maintaining, and enhancing relationship with DCAC partner agencies. Identifies senior level relationships with such agencies as well as ensures in-person meetings are held with the appropriate representatives as needed.
- Designs, builds, and grows robust relationships among key DCAC partner agencies (such as CPS, Law Enforcement, Trafficking), child-serving community organizations, and government officials.
- Represents DCAC in community task forces, speaking engagements, conferences, and training that further DCAC’s mission; attends community, donor, key stakeholder meetings with or on behalf of the Chief Program Officer.
- Engages and educates community partners by providing DCAC tours, visiting local police departments, child protection office, medical facilities, and child centered community agencies.
- Support the CPrO in strengthening relationships with other departments, MDT disciplines, CAC colleagues, and CACTX to advance agency services.
- Works creatively with child-serving community partners to identify and secure essential resources designed to meet the needs of DCAC partners and clients; such community partners may include domestic violence agencies, trauma responsive services, substance abuse agencies and other DFW agencies that may provide resource services for clients.
Program Operations:
- Oversees the management of the day-to-day process of Coordination Services, Forensic Services, and Partner Relations.
- Ensures program operations are best and promising practices through a consistent review of program data sets and outcome metrics, utilizing the information to make data driven decisions regarding updates to program delivery.
- Develops, implements, and maintains standardized program processes and procedures that ensure services are free of barriers for children in need of services at DCAC.
- Mentor and collaborate with department leadership to ensure quality services are in place as pertains to the investigative and partner services required to support all reported victims of child abuse served by the agency and partners.
- Conducts on-going visits with onsite and offsite partners to steward “one team” approach to service delivery.
- Coordinate and analyze outcomes to inform future programmatic decisions. Ensure that appropriate data is collected and maintained for grant funding reports and that reports are submitted promptly.
- Evaluates feedback from participants and partner to assess effectiveness and implement changes or improvements as needed.
Compliance:
- Responsible for the oversight, coordination, evaluation, and compliance with CACTX Texas Standards for CACs, NCA accreditation standards, and Texas Family Code and Administrative code; conducts annual reviews to ensure Partner Services follows required standards, statues, and laws.
- Reviews, revises, and re-executes DCAC MDT Investigative Protocol and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and ensures documents are updated and in compliance with executed signatures.
- Responsible for the overall management of criminal and civil case tracking and ensures case tracking activities are monitored and dispositions and outcomes on cases are up to the standards and requirements of CACTX (Texas Children’s Advocacy Center).
- Oversee the coordination, integration, and delivery of all programmatic services under the Partner Services umbrella, promoting collaborative relationships between departments and ensuring that expectations of funders, partners, constituents, clients, and other stakeholders are consistently met.
Leadership Oversight:
- Supports the Chief Program Officer in the overall development, service delivery, and management of the programming provided to the community.
- Ensures efficient and effective daily operations under the Partner Services umbrella.
- Provides supervision, coaching and professional development support to the Program Directors in the Forensic Services, Partner Relations, and Coordination Services departments and their team members.
- Oversees, in conjunction with the Directors under the Partner Services umbrella, the goal and objective setting process and the annual employee performance evaluation process.
- Responsible for staffing plans and participates in hiring decisions to build high functioning, collaborative team; works strategically to ensure alignment, communication, and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensures suitable metrics and key performance indicators are in place to measure performance and progress of the programs under the Partner Services umbrella and team members.
- Maintains a high level of fiscal responsibility in managing budgets and completes accurate funding and productivity reports.
- Maintains high level of expertise within child abuse and trafficking fields by staying current on relevant literature, research, and interview trends.
- Supports individual and team wellness through implementation of CE-CERT skills and debriefing.
- Provides staff with regular opportunities for relationship and team building, and staff recognition and support.
- Fosters effective teamwork between Partner Services and other DCAC departments.
Other Duties:
- Participates in relevant peer meetings and individual team meetings to collaborate, report on trends, and problem solve with all relevant stakeholders.
- Stewards’ relationships with program leadership and understanding of agency services to accurately plan and coordinate efficient and effective program analysis and supports.
- Attends and participates in monthly supervisor meetings.
- Attends and participates in check-in meetings with Chief Program Officer.
- Attends and participates and/or assists with Crimes Against Children Conference.
- Attends on-going training in field subject matter.
- Support the Chief Program Officer in executing strategies in the DCAC strategic plan.
- Other duties as assigned.
