ABOUT THE TRUST
The M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust is based in Vancouver, Washington and has been supporting the growth of Pacific Northwest nonprofits since 1975. THE OPPORTUNITY
The Murdock Trust’s Internal Technology Team is looking for a Cloud Applications Administrator. The internal IT department includes two full-time staff and is augmented by outsourced providers including a Tier 1 Helpdesk, Application Development, Web Development, and Cybersecurity firm. Additionally, all applications are supported and maintained under vendor agreements.
This role is an important partner to the organization, providing ongoing support for our Cloud-based platforms and managing the evolution of our applications to meet business needs. The Cloud Applications Administrator reports to the Director of Technology and Information Systems, and the role is a hybrid eligible role with the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week following the successful completion of the onboarding period.
THE DAY TO DAY
• Perform Tier 2-3 technical operations in key enterprise systems including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Submittable Grants Management, JAMF Mobile Device Management (for iPads), RingCentral Telephony, Teamwork Desk (IT ticketing system), Keeper Security, Constant Contact, SurveyMonkey, DocuSign, Adobe Cloud, and a future CRM (such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics), plus other ancillary applications like Craft CMS, Cvent, and Miro
• Oversee various application initiatives from beginning to end, ensuring implemented solutions effectively meet business needs
• Independently administer application instances including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups
• Maintain and customize applications
• Build custom reports, dashboards, and workflows
• Manage operational requests and reporting including customer analysis and troubleshoot issues
• Develop training materials and provide training and support to end-users
• Maintain database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management
• Evaluate new releases of applications to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users
TOTAL REWARDS
Compensation
The hiring range for this position is $96,000-120,000, with placement commensurate to experience. This is an exempt role with no on-call requirement.

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance for staff and qualifying dependents with premiums paid 90-100% by the Trust, depending on plan elections.
• Retirement contributions of 11% of base salary (up to the IRS maximum) for all full-time staff; additionally, staff contributions are matched up to 4%, all effective on day one.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Applications Administration (50%)
- Participate in and implement project solutions; implement ongoing enhancements to improve application capabilities
- Perform ongoing application maintenance activities
- Maintain IT Application including data, application version, configuration, user access/profile, integration, and management
- Plan and perform regression testing for periodic releases
- Assist with Ad-hoc report development
- Review new functionality to determine impact on existing processes
- Adherence to internal controls and approval processes / change management
- Bring best practice insight into application capabilities and configuration options
- Understand and apply application methodologies
Applications Support (20%)
- Cultivate and share knowledge of application capabilities and configuration
- Address break/fix and service requests submitted by application users, serving as a primary escalation point person for applications
- Provide Production Support, including triage, bug fixes, enhancements, end-user support, and application monitoring
- Assist with testing and support
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier II and Tier III system issues encountered by users
- Assist users with system questions
Technical Project Support (20%)
- Identify and document business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures
- Participate in working sessions to gather, understand and analyze business requirements
- Support the Director of IT in architecting solutions to ensure work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated
- Advise business teams on industry standards and leading practices, as assigned
- Developing working knowledge of processes and custom validations
- Participate in and implement project solutions
- Project planning and delivery of IT application solutions
General (10%)
