Associate, Client Services Job Description
Inquiring Systems is a growing nonprofit, and we are adding a new member to our team. Our headquarters is located in Santa Rosa, CA. We work remotely and offer a fun, collaborative team environment. Benefits include medical, dental, vision benefits, vacation benefits, and Flex Fridays.
Our 501 (c) (3) nonprofit operates as a Fiscal Sponsorship organization, serving as the umbrella organization for multiple smaller nonprofit organizations. We focus on regenerative system change and help groups who are working in ecosystem and societal regeneration, social transformation, environmental, and social justice impact areas. We’d love it if you were already familiar with Fiscal Sponsorship.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Project Services. The ideal candidate will have experience and a background working in the world of fiscal sponsorship. You will also have knowledge of nonprofits, stellar client relations, and support.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities will include:
● Support new client onboarding and ongoing client services for 100+ fiscally sponsored projects
● Support of donor platforms for fiscally sponsored projects
● Calendar management and scheduling assistance
● Collaboration with Finance and Contracts teams to process Accounts payable and other project requests on a daily basis
● Attending daily staff meetings and being available for time-sensitive needs during Pacific time business hours.
● Collaboration with the Operations Manager to support with social media and website to maintain the project directory.
● Generate and send monthly reports to all projects by the 5th of each month for the prior month’s activity. Review all completed reports for accuracy in preparation for account entries.
● Maintaining/updating Salesforce CRM records for clients/fiscally sponsored projects, adding notes where needed
● Additional duties as required to support the Senior Manager of Project Services.
● Willingness to travel to Santa Rosa, California, once yearly for ISI retreat and to the National Fiscal Sponsor Conference once yearly (location varies).
Qualifications
● Excellent writing skills with sensitivity to tone, language, and attention to detail in mechanics, style, and editing.
● A proactive individual who promptly addresses emails, calls, inquiries, and requests
● Ability to work cooperatively with others and value the different contributions people make; Experience fixing things: designing/improving processes and workflows;
● Background in nonprofits and especially fiscal sponsorship is highly preferred.
● Willingness to learn and a collaborative mindset.
● Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to positively influence others.
● Excellent time management skills.
● Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Donor platforms (Zeffy, GiveButter, Stripe), and general Adobe knowledge.
