<\/span><\/span><\/p>
The incumbent will be responsible for executing projects of
international and national interest. This will result in projects of national
importance to address issues in the supply chains of natural resources,
evaluation, and production of informative outputs on transboundary wildlife
trade dynamics. S/he will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and
producing relevant interventions in collaboration with partners and
stakeholders in their implementations. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop
and implement necessary technical support and inputs for the implementation of
projects, reports, grant proposals, policy drafts and training tools as
envisaged under the project and program.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead in
the implementation of project deliverables of the project in concern.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Supervise
Project Officers and consultants as required, and outreach with stakeholders.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Produce
a roadmap for future priorities on enhancing the capacities of conservation law
enforcement agencies and the transport sector for combating illegal and
unsustainable wildlife trade in supply chains such as fisheries, plants, and
other wildlife species<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop
and conduct capacity -building programs for conservation law enforcement
officers responsible for curbing illegal trade in wildlife species, including
coordination with resource persons and relevant stakeholders.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Annually,
one report, on a wildlife species in trade, its concerns, and conservation
aspects.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Two
proposals on interventions that reduce the illicit trade of protected and
regulated species in the supply chains will be made annually.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Support
and coordinate with land/ marine scape team on delivery of capacity building
program for their<\/span><\/span><\/span>
