About Peepul<\/b>

Peepul is an education -focused non -profit dedicated to
transforming India’s public school system by building high -engagement
classrooms that improve student attendance and learning outcomes. Peepul
partners with state governments to design and implement large -scale systemic
reforms through teacher training, education policy support, and accountability
structures. Currently, Peepul operates eight large -scale programmes across
Delhi and Madhya Pradesh, impacting nearly 5 million students and over 60,000 teachers
across 50,000+ schools.

About Fellowship<\/b><\/p>
The Peepul Fellowship is a two -year, full -time immersive
programme<\/b> designed to develop a new generation of early years and primary
educators for India’s public schools. Fellows will receive intensive training,
classroom immersion, coaching, and mentorship to build foundational teaching
skills, implement evidence -based instructional practices, and create inclusive
classrooms that support diverse learners.

Fellows will work in Grades K–5 classrooms (ages 3–10) in
Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) partner schools, contributing directly to
student learning while developing as reflective, inclusive, and effective
educators.

Teaching & Classroom Engagement<\/b>
<\/p>
Co -teach
and support classroom instruction in early years and primary grades.
<\/li>Plan
and deliver engaging, age -appropriate lessons using evidence -based
instructional strategies.
<\/li>Support
diverse learners, including children with special education needs, through
differentiated and inclusive teaching practices.
<\/li>Build
a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture that promotes student
engagement and learning.
<\/li><\/ul>Training & Professional Development<\/b>
<\/p>
Participate
in intensive pre -service training (Summer Institute), orientation, and
ongoing in -service training sessions.
<\/li>Engage
in continuous coaching, feedback cycles, and reflective practice to
strengthen teaching effectiveness.
<\/li>Collaborate
with school teachers, peers, and programme staff to improve instructional
practices.
<\/li><\/ul>Community & Stakeholder Engagement<\/b>
<\/p>
Participate
in school and community engagement activities to understand student
contexts and strengthen learning environments.
<\/li>Work
closely with school leaders, teachers, and programme teams to support
school -level initiatives.

Demonstrate
professional conduct, resilience, and adaptability in challenging
classroom environments.

contribute to the Fellowship cohort community and collaborative learning
culture.

end of Year 1, participate in a purpose -checking and assessment process to
determine pathways for Year 2 (continued teaching or transition to
programme roles such as curriculum design, teacher training, policy
implementation, or programme operations).
<\/li><\/ul>Eligibility Criteria<\/b>

Minimum
age: 21 years.
<\/li>Bachelor’s
degree in any discipline (teaching experience not required).
<\/li>Full -time
commitment for the two -year Fellowship duration (June 2026 – May 2028).
<\/li>Proficiency
in Hindi and English for classroom and stakeholder communication.
<\/li>Willingness
to work in public schools and participate in training, school placements,
and community activities.
