Represent Trees Atlanta in the community. Understand the programs and services we provide so that they can be offered as options or solutions to community needs. Listen, observe, and engage; then apply community feedback to Trees Atlanta planning and decisions.

Organize and increase community participation. Develop and conduct a variety of events for neighborhoods that will educate, increase awareness, and stimulate demand for more trees in their neighborhoods.
-
Deliver shovel ready Neighborhood Tree Planting Plans. Manage the project timeline to create Neighborhood Tree Planting Plans for three or four of the Downtown Atlanta-adjacent neighborhoods listed above. The project team includes other subject matter experts from Trees Atlanta and external partners who will provide design and technical expertise. You will organize various opportunities to gather community feedback, priorities, preferences, and concerns that will inform the creation of the plans. These detailed Neighborhood Tree Planting Plans are project proposals that include planting locations, species, and quantities of new trees in each neighborhood.
-
Be responsive to community members. Identify and maintain consistent communication with key community contacts in specific Atlanta neighborhoods, as well as solicit various and broad neighborhood perspectives. Respond to emails, calls, and other inquiries from community members. Support our relationships with City Council members and other city officials and staff.
