Kendal Crosslands Communities is seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Services to lead our Housekeeping and Laundry operations and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead housekeeping and laundry teams across multiple community areas.
- Oversee cleaning schedules, apartment/room turnovers, and public area maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory standards.
- Conduct quality inspections and respond to resident concerns.
- Manage staffing, training, and team communication.
- Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and manage the annual operating and capital budgets.
- Support the Helping Hands Home Care Program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Services Management.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards in longâterm care or willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
