Organization Description
The Treasury and the Chief Investment Office (TCIO) within JPMorgan is responsible for firm wide asset and liability management for one of the world’s largest global financial institutions with a $2.5 trillion balance sheet, including more than $900 billion in loans and $1.4 trillion in deposits. Because it sits at the very center of the firm, Treasury and Chief Investment Office directly influences the composition of the firm’s balance sheet as well the activities of the firm’s four main lines of business (LOBs): Asset & Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, and Consumer & Community Banking.
Job Summary:
- Oversight and governance of the financial and related resource planning/management.
- Oversight and governance of the Treasury Chief Investment Office Business Resiliency Program.
- Establishes standards across the group that can be rolled out across the broader Treasury and Chief Investment Office Chief ,Administrative Office organization with the goal of gaining efficiencies and developing a common framework for processes.
- The People agenda provides support to our most valuable assets – our people. The program provides ongoing training, communications, administration of reward & recognition programs and key reminders. In addition, the people agenda advocates for a cohesive team culture by facilitating the arrangement of team activities (including philanthropy events).
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: Provide Business management support for Treasury Chief Investment Office, Chief Administrative Office including the following:
- Financial
- Assist in efforts to track, report, plan and forecast headcount and expenses.
- Prepare weekly location strategy file, tracking HC movement in the groups.
- Review expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Engage management and staff, as needed, to execute on identified cost savings opportunities.
- Reporting
- Assist team in delivering quality results across our business functions through best practices, collaboration and communication.
- Develop ad hoc reporting and deliver key management reporting.
- Assist in the maintenance of the framework to report progress toward achieving goals and objectives.
- Collect and consolidate metrics/reporting from other functional areas and assist in independent review, connecting the dots across the organization.
- Engage subject matter experts from functional areas to ensure reporting is accurate.

- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Share Point site used in Treasury Chief Investment Office, Chief Administrative Office in order it’s user friendly, up to date and content is refreshed on a regular basis.
- Communication
- Assist in promoting transparency through various communication channels.
- Assist in development and distribution of monthly newsletter, town hall decks, symphony chat reminders and email reminders as needed.
- People Agenda
- Assist in planning and execution of initiatives that foster a great team and winning culture.
- Recruitment
- Partner with hiring managers and HR to track recruiting metrics (i.e. interviews, offers, and declines).
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prefer proven experience preparing presentations/materials to effectively communicate key messages.
- Ability to translate detailed information to high-level business themes.
- Well organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, confluence and tableau
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 4-6 years of Business Management experience would be a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a balance between detailed analysis and macro indicators.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities with attention to detail and logical thought process.
- Effective relationship building and teamwork skills along with strong analytical decision-making skills
