Jasiri Talent Investor identifies and selects individuals with the potential to create high-growth ventures aimed towards market creating innovations and guides them in the development of startups from scratch. The program introduces Jasiri Fellows to equally ambitious co-founders, and supports them on an individual, team and business level through seasoned Facilitators, Mentors and Business Coaches. Jasiri Growth Accelerator invests in early stage, high potential startups that may still be too risky for commercial funders to invest in. Early-stage ventures with potential for high growth and demonstrated product-market fit are provided with funding to support their growth and assisted with investor readiness.
ROLE FOCUS
The Administrative Officer
Key Performance Areas:
Programmatic Support
• Prepare well-structured reports, memo, letters, agreements, contracts, presentations, communications, speeches, and other documents - whilst complying with the organizational style, branding, and marking - using word processing, spreadsheets and/or presentation software.
• Organize in-house and external meetings, coordinate minute taking and proper follow up.
• Manage appointments and scheduling.
Logistics and Operations
• Coordinate travel arrangements.
• Manage logistics for all projects and office operations,
• Maintain cordial working relationships with service providers.
• Procure, materials, equipment, goods and services, as requested, within scope and within budget whilst complying with organizational policies and procedures and adhering to Kenyan regulations.
• Expense tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
Event Management
• Coordinate events (recruitment campaigns, program events, team building activities, etc), demonstrating a serious eye for detail, and an obsession with providing a seamless and unforgettable experience.
• Prepare itineraries and plan logistics for workshops, retreats, meetings, etc.
• Maintain the calendar of key events.
Administrative Support
• Provide support and assistance to the Country Lead and team in Kenya to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Manage the office environment efficiently and act as the point of contact, responding to inquiries while maintaining exceptional service.
• Maintain correspondence filing (print and electronic).
• Manage office supplies and stationeries (purchase and replenishments).
• Project administration, including Asana population and updating.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Experience and Education:
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in Office Administration, Events Management, Business Management and/or Logistics.
• Proven experience using digital tools such as Asana and G-Suite.
• Prior experience working as an Executive Assistant, Office Administration, Project Administration, and/or Program Coordinator.
• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, or relevant qualification.
