KIPP SoCal Public Schools is a nonprofit organization that operates 23 tuition-free, open-enrollment charter public schools, within 20 Local Education Agencies (LEA), educating more than 10,000 students and supporting 6,800 alumni to and through college and beyond.

What You'll Do- The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will directly impact the mission of KIPP SoCal by actively supporting the Talent Acquisition Team in recruiting specifically for our Expanded Learning Program and Operations Teams. They will assist in candidate management, communication between candidates and hiring managers, data reporting, and other administrative duties. This position will report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition. Key responsibilities will include:
- Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process for our Expanded Learning Program and Operations Teams including screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters
- Assist talent managers with moving candidates along in the application process
- Support projects periodically with other teams like Human Resources, Credentialing, and Workforce Analytics
- Set up and manage candidate visits to KIPP SoCal Public Schools as required; Includes booking travel, managing expense processing, reimbursements, and vendor payments
- Schedule and manage candidate interview logistics. Coordinate between talent managers, candidates, and interview team. Includes coordinating phone calls and in-person meetings/interviews.
- Manage job postings on our job boards and monitor our monthly spending
- Reconcile our monthly team credit card reports
- Ensure high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience
- Positively contribute to the Talent Acquisition team’s culture
The Qualifications- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in administration and/or coordination support, or another role that demonstrates professionalism, high levels of organizational skills, responsibility, and flexibility
- Ability to manage multiple work streams with a high level of efficiency
- Detail and results-oriented team player who is dedicated to getting the job done accurately and on a timely basis
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to learn software applications quickly

Benefits & Compensation- Starting pay rate of $20-25 per hour, dependent on experience; This is a non-exempt role
