The Salt Foundation is looking for an experienced Female Support Worker to support a mature female participant in South Yarra. Our participant requires extensive care across all aspect of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation and assistance with everyday household tasks. Participation and meaningful engagement within their home and community environments is an important aspect of this role.
This role requires a team of multiple support workers willing to work across the below roster. Although some flexibility may be facilitated. Ideally you would be available to fill at least 2 shifts per week. Permanente part-time or casual options are available. Immediate start.
Monday to Friday: 10am - 2pm or 3pm to 7pm
Saturday: 10am to 3pm

About you:
- Experience supporting participants with Schizophrenia
- Minimum two years' experience working with complex care
- Experience in providing personal care
- Experience in medication management
- Can de-escalate and support behaviours of concern
- Experience with working with behaviour support plans.
- Clear and effective communications skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
- Reliable and committed
- A positive and professional approach.
- Relevant industry qualification
