Position Overview:
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is looking for a Product Marketing Management (PMM) Intern who will join the league’s Product Team to 1) support the marketing of the PLL App and its features (Weekly Fantasy, Pick’em, and Trivia) and 2) create push notifications, in-app messages, and develop user journeys.
The PMM Intern will work directly with the Senior Product Marketing Manager to develop go-to-market strategy, direct marketing campaigns, and support the execution of all marketing initiatives across App and Web. As a member of the Product Team, the hire will also gain experience at every stage of the product lifecycle from research and ideation to launch and analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop cross-channel marketing strategy
- Email marketing
- Content and social media marketing
- Partner marketing
- Oversee the creation of marketing graphics and videos
- Draft push notifications and in-app messages
- Support the operation of in-app features (Weekly Fantasy, Pick’em, Trivia, Game Predictor, and Chat)
- Oversee live gameday updates and messaging across app and web
- Conduct user research and analyze user data
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with a passion for creative problem-solving
- Passionate about technology and user experience
- Comfortable learning new skills quickly and using a variety of digital tools
- Experience in app/web design, development, or product management
- Experience creating marketing assets, designing graphics, or copywriting is a plus
- Experience with Figma, the Adobe Creative Suite, Notion, or Asana is a plus
- Candidate must be willing to take on responsibilities that stray outside of the job description
- The candidate must be willing to work 4-5 days a week and must be available during weekends.
Compensation:
- $15.00 - $17.00 an hour
- Based on experience and location
- Start May 2024 through September 2024
- Los Angeles or Remote
