Position Overview:
The Premier Lacrosse League is looking for a product management intern to help our team deliver products that delight fans. This cross-functional role will support the design, development, and messaging of the suite of PLL Products such as the PLL App and Website. Hires will work across a variety of tasks including conducting user research, web and app design, engineering, data analysis, and digital marketing. This role is for a creative problem solver who is confident managing a variety of projects. The hire will gain experience working at every stage of the product lifecycle and will have the opportunity to solve problems unique to the sports industry. This role will report to the VP, Product & Technology.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the development of product features
- Create user journeys for fans and customers
- Draft marketing messaging for app and web
- Conduct user research
- Draw insight from user data and research
- Prioritize user stories for the engineering team
- Create unique links for PLL channels and track activity
Qualifications
- Self-starter with a passion for creative problem-solving
- Strong desire to understand and address user needs
- Comfortable learning new skills quickly and using a variety of digital tools
- Ability to collaborate on technical concepts with the Engineering teams
- Experience with productivity software like Notion is a plus
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning concepts is a plus
- Be willing to take on projects that may stray outside of the job description
Compensation & Opportunities
- $15.00 - $17.00 an hour
- Based on experience and location
- Internship position / 40 hours per week
- Los Angeles or remote
