About the Role
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in taking ResultsLab to the next level of growth by identifying new nonprofit and philanthropic partners. ResultsLab works with organizations to strengthen data practices and build a culture of learning that embraces data to drive program quality, stronger outcomes, and greater impact. You will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer and will work closely with the Marketing Team.
Location: ResultsLab is based in Denver, Colorado, and is a fully remote organization with consultants across the nation and globally

ResultsLab is a social enterprise, B Corporation that has worked with hundreds of organizations across the nation to use data to accelerate positive change. We uniquely equip our clients with the data mindset, skill set, and tool set necessary to be more impactful in the important work they do. We engage in a variety of projects from training and technical assistance with cohorts of service providers, to one-on-one work with individual organizations, to direct evaluation services, all with the greater goal to improve program rigor, align measurement strategies to organizational/community needs, and increase capacity to use data for improvement.
Opportunity
ResultsLab seeks a Business Development Associate who has an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for strengthening the social sector to better serve our communities. This role will be focused on the following activities:
Identify new nonprofit and philanthropic partners
- Respond to nonprofits or philanthropic leaders who would like to learn more about our services
- Cultivate relationships and build advocacy with leaders in the social sector
- Explore partnership opportunities that best meet nonprofit and philanthropic data needs
- Leverage your network to drive awareness and visibility for ResultsLab services
- Build a database of potential partners and work closely with the marketing team to manage pipeline and incoming leads
The Business Development Associate's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Participating in outbound lead generation efforts and actions aligned with marketing campaigns.
- Conducting telephone and email outreach to targeted prospects and following up on leads.
- Managing inbound lead flow and pipeline management of leads and opportunities in CRM.
- Qualifying leads through discovery calls and emails to continually enhance pipeline value.
- Collaborate with the marketing program for follow-up on all events.
- Manage the end-to-end business development cycle from qualification to proposal to closure, achieving target quotas.
- Learn the value proposition of the ResultsLab solution and professionally represent the company.
- Demonstrate strong communication and follow-up skills, both written and verbal, and fostering a team-player mentality.
What’ll Make You Successful
Core Qualifications
- Being a self-starter with 3-5 years of experience in a position securing new partnerships and customers, community outreach, and driving growth for an organization.

Experience and network connecting and collaborating with nonprofits and philanthropies.
- Ability to listen and be a thought partner to find ways to meet potential new customer needs.
- Strong follow-up to drive new partnerships by managing leads, qualifying needs, building a list, and nurturing a pipeline.
- Comfortable with remote work and effective communication with the team.
- Familiarity with small, high-growth companies focused on revenue results.
- Basic skills in CRM and MS Office. Active Campaign experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Professionalism, drive to achieve goals, and commitment to team success.

Compensation
The compensation range for this role is between $60,000.00 and $70,000.00 annually, supplemented by a robust commission plan. However, it is important to note that compensation may vary depending on several factors, primarily the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications.
