Our client Finance Brokers Association of Australasia (FBAA) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1993. Their core functions are to Monitor legislation and make representations to Ministers and Members of Parliament at both state and federal levels. What you’ll contribute to:
This role is to provide greater face to face relations with FBAA Brokers, Aggregators and Sponsors (including employees of aggregators and sponsors) in both the Commercial & Asset space (nationally) and in the wider membership base in the Victoria and Tasmania. It is expected that the State Manager (Manager) is 80% of time in the field performing their role.
State Manager:
- Net Member Growth (NMG) of satisfied members.
- Relationship development and maintenance with all aggregators.
- Relationship management with all FBAA members and fostering new members.
Commercial & Asset Section
- This role will be tasked with the goal of both growing and retaining members offering services in the Commercial and Asset Finance sector.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have strong industry experience across finance and mortgage broking ideally with a cert IV and or a Diploma in finance or Mortgage Broking is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years in Finance and Mortgage Broking industry is a must and knowledge preferably with finance broker, aggregator, or lender experience, ideally with experience in the Commercial & Asset sector. You must have proven ability to network and build relationships within the broker, aggregator and or lending sector, and be a result driven induvial who is able to meet and exceed business goals. To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who is willing to travel nationally as needed and who is ambitious and self-motivated. You will be able to provide experience in a role requiring growth and retention of a customer /membership base as well as Sales experience - qualifying, rapport development, pitch/presentation, overcoming objections, closing the sale, and maintaining relationships. This role is suited for someone who is eager to join a great functioning team and really make a positive impact for members.
Key deliverables/responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Meet with Managers & BDMs to secure their support, maintain support or resolve issues.
- Report to FBAA on all meetings to ensure all FBAA working with same level of knowledge and understanding.
- Meet with members at FBAA and Aggregator Professional Development days and conferences, and as mutually agreed.
- Implement agreed initiatives aimed at member growth and enhancing member retention in the Commercial and Asset Finance sector.
- Implement agreed initiatives aimed at enhancing member satisfaction and participation in the Commercial and Asset Finance membership base.
- Identify other revenue opportunities in the commercial and asset finance space such as
- sponsorship opportunities.
- Assist with the preparation and management of defined budgets for events and programs relating to Commercial and Asset Finance broker.
- Be confident in public speaking and presenting to small and large numbers of people at events.
- Planning and running events.
