GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Plan, execute and track CAU events with the goal in mind of developing donor relationships, raising awareness of CAU programs and supporting member inclusion through recreation activities.
EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Management, Communication or related field
Experience organizing and managing events
Experience ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
JOB TASKS
- Work with Marketing Manager to coordinate, market, plan and execute all CAU events driven by the Development department
- Act as lead in the planning and coordination of CAUs fundraising events such as: Family Fun Day, Annual Golf Classic and Gala
- Collaborate with Community Inclusion Coordinator to plan and market member-related activities
- Provide support and marketing materials to Program Development’s outreach events such as conferences and table-top activities
- Serve as liaison to venues, photographers, and other service providers in the planning and coordination of events
- Work with Marketing Manager to track and monitor expenses incurred for each event, working within budget guidelines
- Collaborate with Grant Writer to ensure all grant requirements are met as they relate to events
- Work with Marketing Manager and Development Director to evaluate/adapt CAUs event strategy
- Consider and develop fresh ideas for donor-related events
- All other duties as assigned
SHIFT
Varies - Two full 8 hour days/One 4 hour day per week.
