Swaniti’s interventions have included:
(a) strengthening policy implementation by identifying gaps and limitations,
(b) providing research support to elected representatives, and

Major workstreams of Swaniti’s are climate and sustainability, social protection, and livelihood. Although Swaniti has extensive work programs in India, it is growing globally into countries such as the United States, South Africa, Indonesia, and Brazil to become a global voice on climate change and sustainability issues.
About the role
The Swaniti Initiative is actively seeking a dynamic and seasoned Assistant Manager to support team members in their duties and spearhead specific areas of the team's operations. We are seeking an individual with a diverse skill set encompassing Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Learning and Development. This role demands leadership capabilities, interpersonal aptitude, and a firm commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a positive work culture.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and refine HR policies, and procedures, to align with the organization's objectives and foster a positive work environment.
Lead talent acquisition efforts, including developing recruitment strategies, sourcing and attracting top talent, and overseeing the recruitment process.
Identify training needs and opportunities by assessing performance, and employee feedback, and aligning initiatives with organizational priorities.
Provide oversight and support for employee engagement and learning and development initiatives led by the HR team.
Analyze employee engagement data to derive insights and formulate innovative recommendations and solutions to address concerns.
Assist team members in their duties and maintain oversight of HR operations to ensure efficiency.
Compile monthly team reports, visualize data, and present findings and recommendations to management stakeholders clearly and concisely.
Identify process gaps and take proactive steps to address and fill them effectively.
Requirements
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Social Work, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in HR or related field, preferably in a non-profit or social impact organization.
At least 1 year of experience in managing a team of 2-3 Team members.
Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in India.

Proficient in written communication and documentation.

Proficiency in Canva.
Working Knowledge of Data Analysis and Visualization.
