About the Organization:
Swaniti Initiative aims to strengthen public service delivery by working with state and local governments across South Asia, the United States, and East Asia with a strong focus on India. Our interventions have included strengthening scheme implementation of sustainable programs by identifying current gaps and limitations, providing research support to Honorable Members of Parliament about best practices in moving forward on issues of social inclusion and growth, and developing data-technology tools that can back decision-making processes. Swaniti works on a sub-national and local level to ensure last-mile delivery of programs and works with a network of leaders to enable the same.
About the Role
Swaniti Initiative is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our People's Team as an Associate. As an Associate on the People's Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's human resources and talent management functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission-driven work and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and communities.
1) Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
Collaborate with the HR team to identify and attract talented individuals who share our commitment to our mission.
Support in creating job postings, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.
Participate in onboarding activities to introduce new team members to our mission and culture.
2) Employee Support and Engagement:
Assist in the development and coordination of programs and activities that promote a positive and engaging work environment.
Serve as a resource for employees, helping to address their questions and concerns in a supportive and compassionate manner.
3) Learning and Development:
Collaborate on training programs and opportunities that help our employees grow in their roles and deepen their impact on our mission.
Help in tracking and reporting on training and development initiatives.
4) HR Data and Reporting:
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in human resources, talent management, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS software.
